Rocket Language Spanish has thorough lessons with ample practice for each, including listening, speaking and writing, plus flash cards and quizzes. I like learning practical phrases through conversations. I recommend Rocket Languages based on completing the first 7 lessons. I have not yet needed customer service.
Wow! with some knowledge I gained while studying as an Etudiant/Student at Alliance France in Kampala, I can confidently confirm and be proud that after graduating in Bachelor of Computer Science and IT sometime in March, 2019, I will be a little far in French language speaking!
In addition to that, being a life member of Rocket French society, I will endeavor to ensure that French is my second best spoken language to English. Merci a tous.
Ne t’inquiète pas!
A bientôt!
The short time I've used Rocket Language has been tremendous. About half a year ago, I challenged myself to learn Spanish and so started trying the different free options. I found one I liked and poured my time into it, disciplining myself to studying every day. At first I loved it, racking up points and enjoying how successful the app made me feel, yet very soon I became frustrated. Grammar and rules of the language were apparently unimportant as the time was never taken to teach as to why a certain word or phrase was correct. And as for phrases and words that I would actually use in real life? I spent my time talking about giving alcoholic beverages to my pet bear. I soon realized that in regards to learning the language well, I was spinning my wheels.
All that to say this: This program has been a breath of fresh air! Right off the bat, the first lesson gave a tremendous layout of how I am to greet and interact with someone new that I may meet. This was extremely helpful, yet it didn't stop there. I soon found a found tab entitled "Language and Culture." It didn't take long for me to figure out that these lessons taught me the grammar and rules of the Spanish language.
With a hungry passion to learn japanese for years I started off using only duo lingo pro. I quickly discovered I was going to need more than Duo if i really wanted to learn Japanese in a year. I downloaded a few more apps and I was burning through them as well, but still discovered I needed more to satisfy my hunger. Why? Because though these apps were good i was constantly questioning grammer and how i was being taught. I searched online and discovered rocketjapanese, but the price made me raise a eyebrow. At first I wasn't even going to try it, but I really wanted to learn japanese so i decided to give it a shot. I used the trial and knew right away this was what I needed. I bought it and have been using it everyday for at least 2-3 hours while still staying up on my duo and other apps if I even still have time. The fact i get to speak, speak with, and be spoke at while learning was beautiful to me. Sounds crazy, but i will actually look at a object and away from the screen on talking parts to make it feel more realistic when practicing. This is great, but i feel like should only be purchased/used by people who truly want to learn the language because though i'm a rookie at speaking japanese even I know consistency is probably the biggest factor into learning. It's worth every penny and you'll see if you decide to get it with all the lessons you'll probably go "wow, this is going to take some time" but it's totally worth it, if you're dedicated and motivated.
I Really enjoy how the lessons are set up, and they are really easy to repeat if you need some extra help with certain lessons, its something easy and fun to do. I think its really going to help my comprehension of the Japanese language.
After looking (and trying) the other well known online learning resource, I decided to try Rocket Spanish. It was an excellent decision. Each lesson is not too long, and that makes it easy to maintain a good pace. I like that they make sure to have me practice the writing and reading parts of the language, not just the conversational aspect. I love the lifetime access, which is something that is not offered by the other online learning resource. All in all, I'm very happy so far with my decision.
I have regularly been to Germany over the last couple years for business and this year I decided I wanted to learn to speak German.
Not only for my trips to Germany, but because I work for a German company and have to interact with German colleagues frequently.
I tried a few free websites and was very disappointed, but then I stumbled on RocketLanguages and tried the free trial I was hooked, I loved the fact I could write the language and see the words spoken, that makes it so much easier to remember and pronounce the words. I purchased the first Module, and although I thought the price seemed high, I would do it again.
My German colleagues have commented on how quickly I have seemed to grasp and learn the language, and other English speaking colleagues who have been enrolled with a weekly company sponsored program (with terms and conditions) have also seen that my progress has exceeded theirs especially when it comes to actually speaking the language. I can only thank RocketLanguages, not that it didn't take effort and discipline from me to continue, but RocketLanguages just made it easy and fun!
I really appreciate how the lessons constantly refer to older lessons. It ties everything together and just allows for me to comprehend it. The lessons are extremely easy to follow and I feel like I'm learning a lot!
I’ve been wanting to learn Japanese for a while now. I’ve tried trial versions ofDuolingo, Rosetta Stone, and others. Rocket Language has provided great instruction and explainations so far. (Lesson 1.4)
Assuming that I can stick with it and get some friends and family to learn with me I intend to purchase the other two modules.
Having only been with the lessons for a few weeks I feel this is going to most beneficial for my need to speak Italian by February 2019. It is rewarding to hear myself speak what I think I hear. Also, being able to repeat it for practice till I get it fits into my style exactly.
I have not arrived at the Culture portion yet, but the pictures are intriguing and compelling to have one wanting to speak Italian thereby making the anticipated arrival warm and somewhat familiar.
This style is self driven but the process so far is most productive and comfortable.
Purchasing Rocket Italian and now using it, has confirmed to me it was the way to go.
