Fun although it is pretty tough to understand the verbs, and all the conjugations, especially the way they describe it. All though with more exposure it becomes natural.

As for the difficulty you are experiencing with the verb conjugation explanations, I have passed your feedback on to our Development Team. Verb conjugation can be a particularly tricky part of learning Spanish, but we're confident that through using our reinforcement activities like "Flashcards" you'll nail them. Happy learning!
If you are looking to learn a language. I recommend giving rocket languages a try.
Pros:
Audio focused
forces you to listen to every new term/phrase
forces you to speak new terms/phrases and lets you hear back your voice back to compare
Also grades your speech on chrome automatically
lets you rate yourself and then you go back and review what you thought was okay or hard
I got it for ~$180 and get permanent access for about 230 hours of content
Cons:
No clear function for long term spaced repetition
Not enough spontaneity like writings essays or responding words organized in a new way(thats not already pre-planned)
You only cover everything in the ~20 minute audio lesson
No visual references if you care about that
You might lose your voice
Not gamified but I'm having fun
I think you need to use Anki, but its does everything better than doulingo or memrise when it comes to listening and speaking. While also providing a clear path compared to just venturing on yourself. Doulingo is better for grammar and conjugations, but you are at a much faster pace, its less repetitive, and you just can't tune out. Its not good for children or trying to get some else to learn. Ie. you need to participate and have a desire to learn.

Say it!," etc. Additionally, when you purchase a course, you get lifetime access to it and can repeat the lessons as many times as you feel is necessary. the system is confusing frustrating and has to much work

We pride ourselves on offering comprehensive language courses and want to ensure that you are learning everything you need to ensure you can start speaking as soon as possible. Learning a language is lifelong commitment but with a bit more practice we're sure that your Spanish abilities will take off in no time!
I enjoy the course work and information so far. The voice voice recognition sucks. Had a French speaking friend speak as a test and she had the same experience. If this program tells a woman from Montreal that she's wrong or can't register her speech, then it just frustrates the learner and makes for a bad design.

Audio does not work, neither for initial pronunciation, nor playback. When I try to listen "session aborted" appears.

I really like that there is more structure to the courses than many online self-taught alternatives. The dialogues and activities are very helpful. The cultural notes are also great. This course feels a lot more "real life applicable" than many other online resources I've used.
