I really like the automatic recording function, when Playing a part, in one of the conversations. I also like the extra lessons on grammar!
So this is my third attempt (from different angles) at Spanish. I tried first a podcast (not enough repetition, nothing to read, no motivation to practice, no native speakers), I have been at an in person course (highly motivating, but all at the same pace), and now this.
I like a lot the native speakers, the speed of speech, and the repetition in various learning modes. The voice recognition works better than babble (which I briefly tried as well) but still stumbles sometimes. Good thing - rocket does not make this an issue, I can just progress over it.
I much appreciated the possibility first to try whether this format motivates me - before paying. As a German learner, I am ok with the strong US focus (likely the largest market): I'd love if you considered that there are learners with a different language background and learning experience as well. Like comparing Spanish with French or German.
It may be just because I'm early in the lessons (lesson 1 still) but there seems to be a lot of English in the audio portions and not much of me practicing Italian. Also, the dialoguie is a bit "cutesy". Finally, I find the on-going transcript to be very distracting. Seeing the dialog spelled out detracts from my having to recall the Italian words and phrases. Maybe this will get better as I get deeper into the course.
I am particularly excited to re-experience the process of learning Japanese as an adult. This is by far the best method I could find, as it brings back memories of when I lived and learned in Japan when I was 5 years old. This feels pretty intuitive and natural approach. Loving it every step!!!!
I'm satisfied with this Rocket English it's easy to follow the training handout but there are some words that its not clear in the pronunciations but can i can easily follow and understand and if i have sometime i can buy again for the next level regarding the price is fair enough to the customer and i can highly recommend some of my friend if they need the costumer service is excellent easy to follow hope it can help on my review comment . Thanks!
I'm liking the way it teaches through audio lessons. I tried Duolingo and hated how it taught and didn't make or let you memorize the words you were "learning". This is so much better. 9/10. (price is steep, but worth it).
t is easy to learn and train the voice. In the first lesson, I can understand the greetings in Japanese
I think this course is one of the best in the market! and that’s a fact. Because of the following reasons:
- Has a very carismatic voice actor that gives a lot of personality.
- It is entertaining while learning French at insane speeds..
- It cheks your french vocabulary and speaking constanly.
- You can become fluid in french on a reasonable period of time.
Those four checkboses are just the most important facts (for me).
For the price, this course is what you'd expect. It's easy to navigate through the website and the accessibility/readability is very good.
As someone taking this ASL course to refresh previous knowledge I had learned, I found it a bit hard to follow at times. I do wish the multiple choice translation quizzes involved new terms/phrases to translate, rather than the exact same videos used in the lesson module. It would be better for actual comprehension and translation practice, rather than memorizing what we just read on a previous screen.
great. I like it that your can practice when ever you want and where ever you can. it is clear and seem very helpful.
