One of the first questions you’ll be asked when meeting someone in a Arabic-speaking country is ‘Where are you from?’ – ‘Inta menin?’
Whether you’re from Egypt or Lebanon, this lesson on countries in Arabic will prepare you for these questions and help you ask them in return and understand the answer! Many of the names of countries are similar in English and Arabic but pronounced slightly differently so they’ll be easier to remember.
