The difference is in the direction of the palm. The letter V is a peace-and-love sign, palm facing the listener. Number 2 the palm is facing the listener.

also the difference is in the context of the conversation you wouldn't say "I would like "V" cheeseburgers please." That's what you have to think about when you are signing.
