What's the difference between wisilna and wasalna for "we arrived"?  Both are used in 4.5 Just a little bit:

وِصِلْنَا تَقْرِيبًا السَّاعَة سِتَّة‭.

Wiṣilna ta’rīban issā‘a sittah.

We arrived at nearly six o’clock.

وَصَلْنَا اسْكِنْدِرِيَّة مِنْ حَوَالِي اُسْبُوعِينْ‭.

Waṣalna iskindiriyya min ḥawāli usbu‘ein.

We arrived in Alexandria about two weeks ago.

I looked in LissanMasry and found only forms with the two a's.

Both “wisilna” and “wasalna” mean the same thing (we arrived), with just slightly different pronunciations.

Different regions in Egypt can pronounce words slightly differently. “Wasal" with two “a” sounds is the more common usage, however you may occasionally hear “wisil" as well.
