Hi Amira,
If I learn arabic from your site, will it be helpful to understand the Qur'an?
Thanks

Thank you all for your patience. As you may know our offices are in Christchurch, New Zealand and were destroyed in the recent earthquake. All our staff got out safely and we are in the process of moving into new premises.
For the question regarding the Qu'uran, our Arabic course is designed to help you speak and understand Arabic, it is not however deisgned for formal study and therefore although you will be able to understand some of what is written in the Qu'uran we cannot guarantee that it will help you understand such formal written Arabic.
I hope that helps.
Shukran

Egyptian Arabic is quite different from the language used in the Qur'an. Fus7a or traditional Arabic, is almost a science in itself! However, Rocket Arabic course will give you a good basis in Arabic in general and a bit more confidence as well.
Do take note that the Egyptian dialect does pronounce some letters different to standard and fus7a Arabic (e.g. geem instead of jeem). So if you are learning to read the Qur'an, I would definitely recommend taking Qur'an recitation classes as well.
Here's a great resource with more information on Arabic: http://www.omniglot.com/writing/arabic.htm
I hope this helps, let me know if you need any help!
