Additional Testing for Lessons

The lessons currently have H (Hear It Say It), W (Write It), K (Know It), P (Play it) and Q (Quiz). In extra testing there is W2 (Write It In Hanzi) and P2 (Play it in Hanzi). There are three sets of skills I seek to master: listening, speaking, reading Hanzi, and writing Hanzi. H: spoken Chinese --> English K: English --> spoken Chinese W: spoken Chinese --> Pinyin (+ English) K: English --> spoken Chinese W2: spoken Chinese --> Hanzi (+ Pinyin and English) What we don't have but I suggest adding is: R (Read It): Hanzi --> spoken Chinese (+ English, Pinyin) T (Translate It): English --> Pinyin (+ spoken Chinese) T2 (Translate It to Hanzi): English --> Hanzi (+ spoken Chinese, Pinyin) All three of these would present a red record button (like Know It) and when you reveal would play back the spoken Chinese (like Know It). I would be happy to see this added to the extra testing section.

Thank you for giving this serious consideration. Right now I am supplementing things with Quizlet but it takes time to create the flash card sets.

If I click on the keyboard icon, how do I turn it off? I am copying and pasting this sentence in since the keyboard will only let me type Hanzi.

Now, is the point system disabled? Normally I would have gotten points for responding (the first time) to a post. Now I am not. I checked on the leaderboard page "how do I get more points" and "points recently received" and nothing is displayed.

I'm taking Rocket Italian. There is a heading for Extra Testing in the lessons, but there is no content, nor is there a link. Is this something that is in development?

It must be a glitch.  Italian does not have a writing system like Chinese (Hanzi).  Maybe Rocket Languages is planning something special.

Well, I wouldn't mind extra testing, regardless of whether it counted toward the point totals. One can never get too much practice.
 

I just noticed this in Rocket Italian as well. I hope it's not a glitch because I'd really love some additional testing and maybe even exercises where the user synthesizes sentences.
