Small Character Size Makes it Harder to See Detail

Hello all, I have noticed that the Chinese Character size in the lessons seem to be small and also a very light weight font (thin line used) which can be a bit challenging to distinguish detail. When you add a character to your vocab list it becomes bold and underlined. The underline can be a bit of a distraction as well. My main focus is on characters and not pinyin so I was wondering if there is a way for a user to increase the size or would this have to be done system wide.

The only way I know to get large fonts is to zoom in with your browser. I agree that the characters are too small. One of the writing lessons (2.13) suggests increasing the text size. Here is what they say. Increasing Text Size We give you Chinese characters in all our lessons and newsletters. We realize that you're not necessarily going to be studying every single one. The Rocket Chinese Interactive Audio Course is mainly about audio which means it's about getting you listening and speaking. How each character is drawn is an optional extra. Saying that, we hope that we're also making the characters more fun and accessible than you ever would have thought possible. So why not make them more visible and let their curious shapes sink in each time you study Chinese. "But they're too small on this webpage" I hear you cry out! If you're a bit of a novice like me when it comes to computers then here's a tip a friend of mine gave me - make the text size bigger! Most web browsers allow users to make the text size bigger. Explore the menus at the top for more guidance just do a search for larger browser text on the internet.

@Robert C7, Thanks much for the info. Looks like others have found them too small as well. I think its really useful to observe the characters while practicing the audio. It seems like a good use of time to commit some of the characters to memory.
