I think I know the answer...But.... Is it normal to interchange "mian" with "bian"? eg: homian/hobian, qianmian/qianbian, limian/libian etc? Also yibian/yidianr etc?....BH

Hi there, bian and mian are interchangeable most of the times, for example when they are used to refer to "side", like qianbian/qianmian (front side) or limian/libian (inside). But it's different with yibian/yidianr. "bian" can not be interchanged with "dianr". yibian means on one hand (...on the other hand), whereas "yidianr" means "a bit (hot, cold)" or "a little (water etc)" Hope that helps.
