Hallo everyone, I am having Problems with the word order in this sentence: Huì, kěshì wǒ zhǐ huì shuō yìdiǎnr。 Shouldn't the zhǐ come after the verbs because it is a complement and not an adverb? Thanks in advance, Kaye

你好 Kaye! The 只 should come before the verb because it is an adverb. There are only a few word in the Chinese language that can act as complements. Here is a page with a full explanation on the different types of complements in Chinese. http://resources.allsetlearning.com/chinese/grammar/Complement 希望这会对你有帮助! I hope this is helpful! - Lin Ping
