Would it mean: Good looking?

好(hǎo) attached to a <verb> make that verb good to <verb>. So 好看(hǎokàn) is good to see. So if we were to say 这个女人很好看 (Zhège nǚrén hěn hǎokàn) it more or less means "this woman is pretty".
