Hi - Im not sure if this is the right place for this question!! I spent some time in China and whilst my friends were making some tea, I listened to their children (about 4 -5 years) watching the typical dvds that are shown to young children all over the world i.e. simple ryhmes, pronunciation - in a 'cartoon' environment. Does anyone know where I can buy copies of Chinese DVDs aimed at this age group, one great advantage I can see is that there is no English used, so you learn as a child learns their own language. RocketChinese has helped my greatly improve my limited Chinese over the last two weeks since I bought it, but I think there is a lot of mileage to be learn through carrying out 'childs play' as well for relaxation... I actually learnt the nursery ryhme 'liang zhi lao hu' (excuse the lack of tones) which was quite amusing!

Hi Tim V, I believe that when learning a language immersion such as this is very important and sounds like a good idea for you. I know that such resources can be found on websites such as amazon.com but I have also heard of another website called www.childbook.com which has a lot of resources on it and is definitely worth a look. I am glad to hear that RocketChinese has been a big help to you and your Chinese recently. Well done on learning 两只老虎 ! I hope this helps you in your studies and keep practicing. - Lin Ping
