My French friend's mother has just died.
How do I write my condolences to her?
As it is such a sensitive topic, I do not want to risk getting it wrong.

Bonjour Judith,
If you wanted to say something like, 'I was so sorry to hear about the death of your mother, my sincerest condolences and my thoughts are with you'.
"Ça m'a fait beaucoup de peine d'apprendre la disparition de ton père, sincères condoléances et je suis de tout coeur avec toi/vous".
