Pop-up notification repeatedly interrupting program

I am encountering a pop up notification every 3-5 seconds in Rocket French. The notification says, "Congratulations! You've just achieved a new badge!" I've already commented on another post this morning and I tried "liking" the post as well but Rocket won't show that it has been 'liked' so I am making my own post. I have done literally everything like reinstalling chrome, restarting computer, and installing a new operating system on my computer. It seems to be working fine on my phone. 

this is the same problem I am having- it's very annoying

Update on this - I was getting this problem yesterday (22nd Jan) but it seems to have been fixed now.
