Hallo alle zusammen
Ich heiße Simon. Ich wohne in London, UK. Ich lerne Deutsch, damit ich mit deutschen Freunden auf Deutsch unterhalten kann.
Ich wohne im Bezirk von Fulham. Es ist sehr schön hier mit vielen Parks. Die Geschäfte, Bus und U-Bahn sind in der Nähe.
Ich würde gerne von anderen Studenten hören, um Deutsch zu üben

Das Wetter in Texas ist jetz regnet vielen Tagen und weeks.  Wochentage es regnet.  Wochenenden es ist Regen.  Ich wirklich möchte der sonne für eins Tag. Danke für schrieben.  Ich brauche der üben.

Guten Tag Badger.
Es tut mir leid, dass du so schlechtes Wetter hast. Das wetter hier is schön aber es is nicht warm (55F).
Wo wohnst du in Texas?
Ich wohne in einem kleines Reihenhaus (terraced house) in der Innenstadt. Es ist schön hier mit viele Parks. Mein Frau und ich haben zwei Möpse (Pugs).
Ich bin in rente daher habe ich zeit Deutsch zu lernen.

You can get the special characters using a pop up keyboard in the "write it" Test, but this doesn't work in the forum.

If you are using Windows 10, you can switch to a German keyboard quite easily, see:

There is something similar in Windows 7 but it is not convenient to use.

If you don't have a numeric keypad, you can type your information into a word document and use the special symbols drop down to find the special characters.  Then you can copy and paste your product into other apps.

Dear friends,
This language tool/app is not taking the words even though I'm pronouncing accurately. Has any one facing this same issue or is it just wrong with me ? I just started learning for about a week now.
Please help.
Example words: Leer, Cellist, Yoga etc...

I'm sorry to hear you have problems with our voice recognition. 
It might be a problem with your microphone. Can you try recording yourself with another one?

Yes the microphone is important.
I started with a Logitech USB headset which worked quite well, but it broke. Then I used a lapel mic plugged into the mic socket. That was terrible and missed a lot of words.
At the moment I am using a Microsoft LX 3000 USB headset and that works by far the best so far.

However there are still things that just don't work. Numbers and times of day are particularly bad. I have never found a way of saying "half past ..." that works as in halb sieben.

Another catch is that the a minor issue in one place can result in another part of the phrase not being recognised when it is in fact OK.

Sometimes you have to speak very slowly and distinctly to get it to work other times you can say something completely incorrect and it accepts it.

I did get a native German speaker to try out the language recognition and it did not always accept her German. If you can't get a phrase to work, the best thing is to listen closely to your playback and check how well it matches the tutors version.
