Can you connect me with another student who wants to practice conversations that are not scripted in your course?

I need to use all the Italian that I have learned in a spontaneous conversational format.   Do you have a chat room where students can write messages to each other?  
Can you reccommend an Italian newspaper that I can read online?
Maybe Rocket Italian could post a question of the day for students to answer in Italian?

A chat room with moderators would be particularly useful. And a question of the day sounds like fun! Good ideas, thanks for sharing.

Thank you for your feedback. The feature we use to connect other learners and the language is the Forum actually, we don't have a chat room or any other form to live-connect people. Based on other member's feedback, there is a site that's outside of Rocket Languages where you can schedule talks with native speakers, but I think there's a charge to it, in case you'd like to check, here's the link:
