English to Italian translation help

Hello, If anyone would be able to help me translate this song verse into Italian that would be amazing! I have been asked to sing a part of a song in Italian and I need the correct translation so as that it makes sense :) my italian is not very good so any help would be fantastic! The lyrics are: Sweet girl, don't you cry, I've been worrying about you since you left. It's not that you seem overly stressed, it's just a feeling I get. And when I see you again ill try not to be so upset. Ill just smile and try to forget. Thank you! :)

Ciao Sarah, please note that the translation above is not correct. Here the correct translation of the song: cara ragazza, non piangere. Da quando te ne sei andata sono preoccupato per te. (you can also use "sono in pensiero" which literally means "I'm anxious about you") Non sembra che tu sia particolarmente stressata (in Italian I wouldn't use in the song, may be a synonym would be ideal as "worried"= preoccupata)...questo e' cio' che provo (literally "this is what I feel). E quando ti vedro' di nuovo , cerchero' di non essere troppo sconvolto. Sorridero' e provero' a dimenticare. Please keep in mind that some English expressions can't be translated literally .
