Italian children's stories

I know this sounds very juvenile, but found Italian fairy tales on “ The Italian Experiment”. Listened to the story of Jenny Penny and the sky is falling down. Made me smile, increased my vocab and could understand most of it. 

They have several stories, with translation if needed.

Il Cielo sta cadendo. Can't remember if that is correct grammatically, will have to listen again.

Now I have that phrase stuck in my head.

Thanks for the recommendation.  I had heard about this being a good idea for beginners.

They are available in German too. My German is still at the very beginning, so haven't tackled them yet. Under a different website. If you look for ChrisM108 in the forum messages he has great recommendations.
