When do you use quel opposed to quello?

Hi Michael, "quel" and "quello" are called demonstrative adjectives in the masculine form and they mean "that". You will need to use: -"quel" in front of masculine singular nouns. Example: Quel libro è interessante (That book was interesting) -"Quello" in front of masculine nouns starting by s+ a consonant, or z Example: -Quello scatolone è rotto (That carton is broken) I hope this helps :) Buon divertimento con Rocket Italian. Ciao
