Mac interface with microphone

I am on a new Mac and cannot get the microphone to function with the interactive features. I did purchase the Mac software with Rocket languages. Please advise me how to get the microphone to work so that I can record my voice.\nThank you.\n[redacted]

I had to use firefox for the microphone to work is seems there is a bug that prevents them from recording in webkit browsers.
