Y a t'il des billets special pour les personnes àgées? that is what we would like to know. which is the best way to buy tickets for the metro and the regional trains around Paris. We are going to be there for about a week and will be staying in Beaumont sur Loire, just north west of Paris on a trainline to gare du north.

You will be amused that there is a more colloquial expression for 'senior citizen' : "troisieme age". For metro tickets, there's always a wall dispenser you can buy from just before you go inside, and you can get the regular metro or the RER, which I assume you'll take from Beaumont sur Loire.
