To type the *ô *in *bientôt*, check on the checkbox in the lower left of the keyboard and diacritical marks will highlight in blue. Click on 'AltGr' to take you to the additional diacritical marks and click on the caret symbol (^). This takes you back to the original keyboard set, with some letters highlighted in grey. Choose *o* from the grey selections.

bonjour tout le monde. I am so mad at myself for not studying these wonderful lessons. I stopped learning about 5 months ago or more . My French girlfriend passed away and I just lost all interest. someone please encourage me to keep up with my studies here. Merci.

Hi Gary, so sorry to hear about your girlfriend. Keeping up the studies is the hardest past of learning here, it is also the thing i struggle with the most.
Perhaps you need to find a new incentive for your studies, a trip to france or something like that to give you something to work towards. For me, i have found someone in my town to do a language exchange with, so we meet each week and i help her with english and she helps me with french. I find this motivates me to do more studies online because i don't want to let her down by not making progress!
i hope you find your way back to studying, it often feels like a slow and hard journey but i'm sure it will be worth it!
Où habitez vouz? Peut-être il y a une échange linguistique dans votre ville aussi.
bonne chance!

salut sister luna, merci pour the kind words. J'habite aux etats-unis, en Caroline du Nord. There are only 250 people in my village so no one is learning French. I made a new friend who lives in Marseille France so i am excited to converse with her.Yes an incentive would be good. I want to go to France to visit Paris, but right now it is trop cher! Merci pour le post. Gary

Oui c'est toujours très cher! But you can always star saving up! That's good that you have found a native french speaker, even if it's not face to face it is still a good incentive!
All the best with your studies!
