Does Rocket French work with Macintosh laptops?

Recently I experience problems with my Rocket French course on my Mac. The course freezes and the fan in my Mac starts. I see the spinning ball symbol that usually signifies ongoing processing but nothing results. When I try to quit the page my browser (Safari but I have tried Firefox with same result) does not respond. This course worked fine during the first month but the above happens now every time, so I cannot get any further. Has anybody had the same problem? If so did you mangage to solve it?

Thank you for contacting us.  Our sincere apologies for the trouble you are having with your course.  We believe that this issue is being caused by an incompatibility between your browser/operating system and our new points widget.  
We can make a change to your Points Widget that will correct the problem. It will mean that instead of updating every time you play some audio or take a test, the widget will only update when you refresh the page. Please allow us a few hours to make this change, and don't hesitate to contact the Customer Support team if you continue to have trouble.
