forum responses not counted

Hi, I just finished a lesson and then went and answered a bunch of posts 5+ to my forum posts, then checked my points and found that not a one of my posts was awarded points, though my lesson was. I've noticed this before. Is there something special one has to do?

I think that it only counts the first time that you respond to a thread, not the subsequent ones to the same thread.
