IT question

I saved some notes but something happened to them that most of them became gibberish. For example: D'où venez vous? = Where do you come from? (formal) I am sure I didn't write D'où venez vous? to mean "Where do you come from?" How can I retrieve the notes or do I have to start over?

My previous post was asking an IT question but when I hit send the "gibberish" appeared normal. Let me try another example on my notes: J'esp& etc, etc. I am not going to type the whole gibberish sentence that appeared on my notes least when I hit send they became normal French again. As is now that appeared on my notes I won't be able to understand the gibberish - J'esp&.... Any suggestion? J'espère que ça va bien.
