I'm new to Rocket French & still trying to figure out how it works.

I like the flash cards, but have trouble when there are 30+ at a time. I'd like to just have 5 or so to practice at a time. Is there a way to do this? When I go through 30, I've forgotten the first ones by the time I get back to them.

In the reviews, someone talks about loving the games in RocketFrench. But I don't see any games. Just the same format of conversations, with drills and flashcards to learn the phrases. Are there games and other approaches?

Also I paid for all 3 levels. But I'm starting on Intermediate. How can I get my money back for the Beginner?

Thank you for your help! Lastly, is there a FAQ or help section to help with questions like this??

Hi SalutAnn,

Thank you for your post. Our apologies for any confusion caused. Unfortunately it's not possible to split the flashcards up into smaller lists I'm sorry, however, if you mark any cards as “Good” or “Hard” you can choose to be re-tested on those cards. You may also find our Custom Flashcard option useful in your learning (found by clicking on your avatar in the top right corner and selecting Tools):

Regarding the games, a long (long) time ago our courses included some software called the MegaGames, that tested learners on various things, and so I'm assuming that this is what the review is referring to. However, this has since been replaced with our current testing (PlayIt, HearIt/SayIt etc).

I have gone ahead and requested a partial refund for the level 1 course. Please allow 5 business days for the amount to be returned to your account. If you have any further questions, you can contact our customer support team, or check out the FAQs here (also found by clicking on your avatar in the top right corner and selecting Help):

I hope that helps!

Thank you Margaret - I appreciate the detailed attention & the partial refund. Now I'm wishing I'd looked at those Level 1 dialogues! I think intermediate is the right level for me, but for my upcoming trip, I need dialogues on ordering in bakers, paying at the grocery store, shopping, ordering in a restaurant.  Bon tant pis. Merci!

Apologies for the delay in responding Ann, but I just thought I'd mention that Rocket French is on sale at the moment, so it could be a good time to purchase the level 1 course, if you still thought it might be useful for you :) All the best for your upcoming trip.
