question about the program itself

My very first lesson shows I have 0 left to do, yet it isn't highlighted like it got done.

Maybe post a link to the page you are looking at so we can get a better idea about where you are. Have you tried to click the Testing tab at the top of the lesson and look at the Hear / Write / Know / Quiz sections? There is also the Take a Tour link at left if you need a tour of how things work on the site. And if you are using the iPad version, maybe just use the Send Feedback and ask support about the problem. Or email a screenshot to support at : support@rocketlanguages.com

Thanks for the tip, Jason! I emailed a screenshot to the support desk, and I will check out the "take a tour". The thing is I'm already on to lesson 1.9 or so, and I didn't have problems with any but the first one.
