Rocket French - Updated Level 2 Language & Culture Lessons

Hi Everyone!

We've now updated the Language & Culture lessons for Rocket French Level 2! We've been working on this update for the last few months and are excited to finally have this ready for you all.

We've created all-new grammar lessons to provide you with improved explanations, useful new topics, and a wide array of new audio examples - all of which will help you with your French learning. You'll also find fresh Culture components at the end of each lesson to give you a greater understanding of all things French! 

Since these changes have involved adding new lessons to the course (each of which is marked with a "NEW" label), your progress will unfortunately start from scratch for these. However, we are sure that you will find them a massive improvement on the old lessons!

[edited] P.P.S. As part of the update, we've updated the numbering for Level 3 to prepare for the upcoming new Level 3 lessons. Modules have been moved back to follow on from Level 2 numbering, so Module 17 is now Module 15, Module 18 is now Module 16, etc. 

Recently, I've been working my way through the Level 1 Certification tests (again), and reviewing the lessons associated with any sticking points. In doing so, it has certainly occurred to me that there have been a number of very worthwhile updates to the material, as well as, a lot of new material on which to practice. I'll be looking forward to seeing the new Level 2 material as well.

I would find it hard to believe that someone would mind that their ‘progress’ had been reset, when, in many ways, the new material is almost like a whole 'nuther batch of new practice lessons for free - even if one has been through the material before.

Hello! Definitely love the new and improved lessons. I noticed the lesson on ‘Future and Furure Porche’ have gone. Have these been moved elsewhere? I was just about to start the future tense and poof… it's gone!. 

Seems like an awfully long time to wait for an explanation, ChandniD. Aside from the brief mention of future proche in 3.9 (which is really all that needs), future tense has truly vanished. Makes me wonder if perhaps they aren't as surprised as you were, or maybe this is one of those unmonitored mailbox situations. You might want to ask about the disappearance of future tense in a new thread. In the meantime, you could always Google it. There are plenty of clear explanations for conjugation, etc. on the internet.

Apologies for the late reply, and for the interruption to your learning.

The future tense will be covered in detail in the new Level 3 lessons, scheduled for release in about 3-4 months time. In the meantime, we've moved the lesson “The Future Tenses: Le Futur and Le Futur Proche” from Level 2 to Level 3:
