Voice recognition frustration

I really like this course, I like the structure and how it takes you through the steps needed to speak french.

I went to a french speaking high school so I´'m familiar with the firsts lessons as that is pretty basic stuff.

But I feel really frustrated with the voice recognition system, there are words that I repeat 4 or 5 times, very simple words like dix mille ( system heard debile) is really annoying go over and over in words that I know how to pronounce.

Has anybody suffered the same thing?

I´'m considering give up!!!

Our apologies for any inconvenience caused by the voice recognition software; we are aware the system may have a difficult time converting numbers or rating short phrases; but overall, it should work fairly well. Could you please let us know if this issue you're experiencing is happening on the app (in a mobile device) or in a browser (in a desktop/laptop)? If on the app, do you use Android or iOS? Have you tried to reinstall the app? If on a browser, which one are you using? We recommend using an updated version of Chrome or Safari, and a wired headset. Speaking of numbers, I thought I'd seen it all until, in response to:

C'était de l'avant-garde au début du vingtième siècle.

It came back with:
C'était de l'avant-garde au début du XXème siècle.

How does it make this stuff up?

What's amazing is that after 16 months, 3 Levels and Travelogues, I can find humor in the recorder. Definitely a love/hate relationship.
