13. 13.8 subjunctive explanation and presentation

I have heaped enough praise on Rocket French, so I earned now the right to say something awful.
The presentation of subjunctive in lesson 13.6 and 13.7 is terrible.
In my native Czech I love using subjunctive as it is a very elegant way to grasp the mood.
The way I would see the presentation on subjunctive is to give a side-by-side sentences in  the subjunctive form and in  the assertive form.  There just must be some reference from which you distinguish and grasp the difference.  The subjunctive is a lovely subject, it deserves some effort to present it well.

Thank you very much for your feedback! There are currently plans to begin a review of our French courses sometime in the not-too-distant future; I will be sure to pass your feedback on to the French team to take on board when they begin the review.

In the meantime, you can find more on the subjunctive in Lessons 22.7-22.9 in Level 3, where the subject is fleshed out a bit more than it is in Level 2. I hope that this is of some help!
