Salut Heba, Both 'dans' et 'en' mean 'in'. However, 'dans' in used very literally for things that are inside some thing else and should always be the preposition you use when describing where an object is. 'En' is slightly more abstract and is often used in fixed expressions such as 'en général' (in general) and also it is used when saying which country you are in, such as "En France, j'ai trouvée ma place" (In France, I found my place/home). I hope this helps you - J'espère que cela vous aide. - Marie-Claire
