grammar trouble

why is "I will sing" be "je chantera" Shouldn't it be "je chanterai" :?: In the book i have, the future tense for the i form is chanterai. Chantera is the he/she form.

Salut Ray51, I apologize for the delay in my reply. It seems that we had technical issue lately. You are correct . The right translation of "I'll sing" is " Je chanterai". Can you please let me know where you have found the mistake? Merci beaucoup! :)
