Indirect Object Prounouns and Negations

In lesson 5.7 Indirect Object Prounouns, which by the way I am finding very hard, we are given the sentence “Ils vont livrer des colis à Monsieur Richard” and the negative sentence “Ils ne vont jamais livrer des colis à Monsieur Richard” should the “des” in the negative sentence not be “de”.

In lesson 4.5 it says that partitive articles become “de” or “d'” in a negative sentence and can be translated as “any”.

Thanks

Bonjour CharlesH58,

Yes, you are right. This, as a partitive article in the negative, should be ‘de’ and not ‘des’. It may have been a colloquial slip up from the course writer and editor. I'm going to check in with the team and see if we can get this changed.

I hope you're studies are coming along okay. Re above, let me know if you need any help with what you're finding difficult.
