If someone asks you what is french for bed. Do you tell them "le lit" or "lit."

Salut Ray 51, "lit" in the French word for "bed". In French a noun is most of the time preceded by an article. In this case "le" is the definite article that identifies the gender of the noun (masculine). So "le lit" in English would be "the bed". I hope this helps! Â bientôt! :)
