Hi everyone, got a quick beginner's question: *Nous lui avons recontré à l'aéroport.* Is the best way to say "we picked him up at the airport"? Also, how would you translate "we helped him carry the luggage" and "we drove him home". Thanks!

I went to http://translate.google.com/ and came up with this: Nous sommes allés le chercher à l'aéroport Not sure if that's the best way to say it, but Google Translate is often close. Best, Jeremy

Salut, I would use the following: We helped him carry the luggage: nous l'avons aidé à porter les bagages. We drove him home: nous l'avons conduit chez lui. For once the Google translation isn't actually too bad, that's good news. Nous sommes allés le chercher à l'aéroport is just fine.
