which way is more popular?

Just wondering, for numbers such as 80 where there are two ways of saying them, which is the most prevalent? Thanks!

Bonjour Belinda, The more complicated way (i.e. quatre-vingts for 80) is used in France and most other French speaking countries. However there are a few exceptions such as Belgium where the more logical system (i.e. octante for 80) is used. I would stick with the first one because everyone will understand them but I would also suggest taking a look at the second set just in case you end up running into someone who uses it.
