celui or ceux in lesson 19.1

I have a question regarding lesson 19.1.
Is the sentence: « Non, je vais aux musées aussi, surtout celui des beaux-arts » correct?
Specifically, why is it 'celui' and not 'ceux' as it appears to refer to 'musées' and should be plural?
The English is "No, I visit museums as well, mostly those of the fine arts."
I suppose it could be the kind of error that people commit in casual conversation (as we often do in English as well).

Salut Peter--252 !

Merci pour votre question !

The French is indeed correct; however, there is an error in the English translation. What is being said in French is actually closer to "No, I go to museums as well, especially the fine arts one."

So in this sentence, celui is representing a single specific museum; this is why it is singular.

Thank you for catching this, and our apologies for the error! I will make sure that the translation is corrected directly.

Bon travail !

Salut Liss !

It was the word "those" that misled me.
I see it has been corrected in the dialogue.

Merci,

Peter
