I'm an early beginner. What is the best dictionary app (paid or free) for finding the meaning of a french word.

Pretty hard to beat Google Translate - unless maybe you wanted to talk at it instead of type into it.

Just thought I'd throw this one in there two. DeepL (https://www.deepl.com/translator) is driven by AI and in my experience it does a better job with nuance than Google Translate.
