Salut,
Just wish to double confirm...is there a typo error on this sentence "Je suis là" translated as "I am here" or should it be "I am there"? Or is it suppose to be "Je suis ici"? Which is which, svp?
Merci,
Anthony

Salut Anthony,
the translation of the sentence is correct:
"là" is an adverb that can mean "there" (as opposite of "ici") or used as "here" (as "ici").
For example :
-Je le vois là (I can see it over there)
-M. Bordeaux n'est pas là ( M. Bordeaux is not here)
I hope this helps.
:)
