My notes keep inserting a ' where an accent is supposed to be. I tried deleting those blurbs, but they come back. How do I enter notes now?

AGAIN!! When I tried to copy a number of symbols here, they aren't accepted. I'll type them: '. They keep replacing the apostrophe in my notes, messing with them. How can I enter my notes?

Hi - Unfortunately, I haven't found a way around this, so I don't use the notes section if diacritical marks or things like the c-cedilla are involved. It's the way the coding works; it's not being translated into the proper extended Latin unicodes.
