Please help, i'm getting confused!

Hi, i'm on 1.4 and the words: j'ai besoin and boisson in the same sentence are really confusing me. They just sound so similar. Any tips on how to move past this? Thanks!

I think you'll get the hang of the pronunciation with practice because they sound quite different. The "oi" (wah) sound is on the second syllable in besoin [beh-swah(n)] and in the first syllable in boisson [bwah-soh(n)].

The more exposure you get to the language, the more your ear will become accustomed to the sounds and the easier it will be for you to differentiate similar sounds.
