Prendre: to take

Hi
Working on 17.6: Verbs ending in -dre
The explanation says 'Unlike the previous verbs ending in « -dre », « prendre » will lose its « d » as shown below:'
when in fact it looks as though it's the 'r' that's missing rather than the 'd' ie prendre becomes prends.
What am I missing - or could there be a typo?
Cheers

Salut BarryC7 !

Merci pour votre question !

The missing D referred to is in the plural forms - so while the nous form for vendre, for instance, is vendons, the nous form for prendre is prenons (and not "prendons").

Our apologies that the explanation wasn't very clear! I'll make sure to have this updated.

À la prochaine,

Liss
