Watched an interesting documentary, “Biking Borders” 2 Young men cycling to Beijing from Berlin. Interesting, but the best is it is in German. Always surprises me how many words I actually understand. On Nettflix. So I have English subtitles, but then intend watching it again in German, but with German subtitles if there are any.
I find it very motivating when I can watch something and undestand some of it. I find that that is where Rocket is very good. The diversity of vocabulary introduced on Level 1. Granted sometimes it feels overwhelming, when one is grappling with a grammar concept and new Vocabulary, but it does pay off in the end. I repeat a lesson over and over until I feel that I have retained a big chunk of it.
