I have a friend learning Spanish. She found a Spanish soap opera with subtitles that have helped her. Could I find anything like this in German?

Hi Lynn, What a great question! I didn't know myself until a few minutes ago after doing some browsing. I found this site: http://www.reverberations.net/2011/12/language-learning-german-videos-with-subtitles/ There may be others as well. I intend to check it out.
