Planning to buy a house and eventually move to Schleswig-Holstein

Hello I am still Leaning Deutsch ;) I am planning to invest buying a home either Schleswig or Hamburg areas! This is a plan for the future but I'm so sure of it! I just love Germany, I was there a year ago but more south around Munich, The reason why I am looking to invest so far North is because my Grand-mother was from Scheleswig-Holstein, a part of me wants to go back to part of my roots, I guess I have never been there but I been looking pictures, videos and houses...and fell in love with the area! so Beautiful and Green ! Anyone ever been there? I'd love to know more... P.S ... Sorry if I made any mistakes with my English! :P Danke Ingrid

Hallo Byron Yeah! Is not something to do right away but eventually! I Guess since I am part German , I want to get closer to my roots and also to one of the person I had loved the most in my life.. I grew up speaking Spanish (Spain) and then I met someone and moved to USA about 4 years ago but well , now I am ready to go back to Europe again, specially Germany... I just need to be a little patience lol Not that I don't like Amerika but I miss so much back there, maybe I'd like a more relax living in a couple/few years :) Grüße Ingrid

Hallo Ingrid, I think I could live happily in Germany and I'm sure I have family there although we haven't gotten in touch. When I visit Germany again, I'll make an effort to look up family.
