Going to Germany soon, super excited. Can anyone tell me where is the easiest or best place to purchase a German Sim card.

Hi Maxie, 

There are a lot of places to get a German sim card. You could try companies such as Aldi Talk, Vodafone, Constar or Telekom.

Hi Julia

Thank you. Could not get Vodafone to work on our Canadian phones. Went back to the shop twice and the technician had no luck either. We had to go back to Frankfurt airport to pick up our children for the rest of the trip. 

O2 in the same level as car hire, got in done in 5 minutes, so if anyone is here and needs a sim it is worth stopping there. Also some really good baked goods close by. 

In Rothenberg ob der Tauber. My kids are enchanted. Today off to Dresden, to do the Maler Weg. I shouldn't call them kids, they are all adults.
