Travels

Hi All

We leave for Germany tomorrow and just can't wait. We spend our first night at Waldeck Schloss and then am hoping to meet my pen friend for Kaffee und Kuchen. Somewhere near Celle.

Then my kids arrive a few days later and we are off to Dresden to hike and finally to Grainau in Bavaria. Am looking forward to listening to people speak around me and am looking forward to German food too. 

Hopefully can do some speaking too, without freezing up

I am sure that gramatically there will be errors, but can make myself understood. I am interested to see what the reply is to your “geraten” Probably has different meanings. Can think of several situations where English does.
