It would be very helpful if the administrators would get involved in the "Converstions in German" section of the community. Overall, really. I will ask again, "Where's Nathalie?". She was very, very active the first year I had Rocket German; in every aspect of the community. Since she is no longer there, the participation of adminstration in the community STINKS! It's about as a bad as it was in the "Alles auf Deutsch" section, which has changed seemingly dramatically lately. About which I would like to say I am very happy about now, since there's been a lot more participation. HELP PLEASE! Thanks :) -Cooper

I agree with Cooper. Administrators' involvement would encourage "newbies" like me, to try "speaking" with other learners. Many newly involved with a strange new language have lampenfieber (stage-fright). If Cooper did not take the initiative when I posted my first conversation I would not have tried again to interact with other German students. Please accept this as corrective criticism not as a rebuke.

Yes, yes, yes Davida!!! I have 'das Lampenfieber' really bad, but I will try my hand at the German speaking after today. I am a student of Rocket German for over a year, but have not made a contribution to any of these boards - schändlich! I also had horses and loved dressage. I had a friend training horses in Ocala, Fl. and visited him there. It is beautiful countryside. The next entry will be auf deutsch!

Hello Donald,
Our next conversation will be in German - Bravo for you! It takes me forever to compose in German and then to read what returns to me but I will continue until it becomes easier.
I have been with Rocket German less than a month but from experience I know the value of trying to communicate to others with more knowledge and far less knowledge than I (which is easy since my experience is LIMITED)
Are you still residing in Florida, do you still ride? I concentrate on Reining which is western dressage. At one time I had a Hanovarian who was third level dressage. Now I want to have fun, no fancy English riding habits. I look forward to our "auf Deutsch" conversations.
