conversation setting

Hi

Just realized I can change the settings on the conversations. Not sure if this is a nwe feature, but just love it. Also challenges me to think in terms of just speaking and not just looking at the sentences. Tried it with everything blank and had to think quickly how it all went. Am quite familiar with the dialogue, but had a moment of panic, as to what do I need to say. Realized that, that is what a real conversation is like. You walk into a bakery in Germany and your mind just freezes. Has happened to me and granted My German was really, really basic, but I hope this is going to give me a new sense of confidence in the real world

I think the play it section is great too, I like to do it with the German text blank. It's actually all I do with the course these days.

I find it's good for revision and full of useful phrases that can be reused in my own sentences.

I'm not sure if I am missing something, but you can't blank out the vocabulary sections and grammar sections. Not sure if I am missing something. But it would be amazing if one could.

The generation war story was actually about 5 friends didn't realize it was fiction. Very sad, but then when isn't war. I'm sure Africa was no picnic when you were there  for work.

At first I didn't realise that Generation War was based on real characters either. There is a Wiki on it if you are interested. 

I thought it was a powerful story about the madness of it all, especially in relation to what is happening right now.

Yes, the blanking out has only ever worked in the play it section, not the Lesson Vocabulary section (former Extra Vocab)
